'13 Handel's Messiah (Basicaly Baroque Concert Series)
Vesper Chorale returns to that most beloved of all oratorios, Handel's Messiah.
Originally written for the Lenten season, Handel took texts compiled from scripture and set them to some of the most recognizable music of the classical genre. In modern times the Messiah has been performed during the Christmas season as well.
Vesper Festival Chorus, Vesper Chamber Orchestra and Children's Choir of Michiana combine ranks to make this Vesper Chorale signature work a truly memorable musical event!
