Join fellow film lovers for pixELATION! a benefit celebrating cinema in all its forms at Hartford's Cinestudio featuring a reception, prizes, and screening of the newly restored Mel Brook's comedy masterpiece Young Frankenstein, with M.C. Colin McEnroe, the erudite and witty WNPR host, and longtime fan of Cinestudio.

Young Frankenstein is a 1974 American comedy film directed by Connecticut resident Mel Brooks and starring Gene Wilder as the title character, a descendant of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein. The supporting cast includes Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars, Richard Haydn and Gene Hackman. The screenplay was written by Wilder and Brooks.
Colin McEnroe is well known in Connecticut and beyond as the erudite and witty radio talk show host (WNPR), columnist, blogger, author, social commentator, public speaker, playwright, and long time patron of Cinestudio.
