Day of the Dead Celebration - Dia de los Muertos
Please join us to celebrate this joyous occasion when the memory of ancestors and the continuity of life is celebrated!
The skeletons are representing the dead playfully mimicking the living. This is not a macabre celebration.
See a traditional Altara (alter) with Ofrendas (Offerings) and candles to light to honor the dead. Bring photos of your loved ones gone before. Sugar skulls and flowers will abound. Costumes are optional.
Live entertainment will be provided by:
Los Calaveras, Olympia's premier Latino ensemble,
DJ El Gallito promises to keep the salsa pumping.
A special performance by Danza Quetzalcoatl in all their Aztec regalia, and a visit from the Bone Gang of Samba Olywa will spice up the night.
Food is free and there's a no-host bar.
