Like an exquisite dessert, Gypsy Soul's eclectic sound is a rich, multi-layered experience that has been described by KLOS Radio as "Gourmet Music." The seasoned, international duo masterfully blends their distinctive Acoustic Soul with a generous infusion of English Blues, Jazz and Folk stylings. Attracting similar audiences to those of Sarah McLachlan, Bonnie Raitt, Eva Cassidy and Loreena McKennitt, Gypsy Soul has been hailed as "one of the most brilliantly instrumented and vocally adept bands alive and kicking," by the OC WEEKLY. Their 2007 release earned the duo a Top charting positions on both the International New Age and Folk DJ Charts. Their latest release, Wanderlust available now to fans only is slated for an early 2009 national release. Gypsy Soul has garnered "Critics Choice" in over 65 publications.
Searching for a musical soul mate, Canadian/US singer and lyricist Cilette Swann traveled to Europe chasing her Celtic roots. After a few years singing in French jazz clubs, her quest took her to Scotland where she met world-class musician and producer, Roman Morykit. Not only did his musical gifts take her breath away, he also won her heart. The duo has since recorded nine CDs over a decade. Through their unforgettable and soulful performances, these esteemed performers have sold nearly 110,000 CDs in the U.S. alone without label support. Their music has aired in numerous countries and over one hundred times in films and TV shows including Providence, Felicity, Roswell, After Sex, Quicksand and others.
