Sunchasers Dinner Show
Yellow House Productions invites you to join us for an evening of original music and food in the newly remodeled Jaam Rek project space. We are committed to creating community events that bring people together to explore music, food and other arts in more intimate, intentional environments.
Start off the evening with a light appetizer as we settle in for an hour of new music by Sunchasers. Following the music, we will all gather around the table to enjoy good conversation and a homemade meal crafted by Sara McCabe.
Please note: Alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of admission, but feel free to bring your own beverage of choice (wine, beer, etc.). Also, please let us know if you would like a vegetarian option.
Sunchasers is the latest project from Seattle-based trombonist and composer Naomi Siegel. Siegel's music tends to employ deep grooves, folk-like melodies and collective soulful improvisation. Written while traveling in Senegal, Gambia and Costa Rica over the past several years, her compositions have global influences while featuring her own distinct compositional voice.
Sunchasers is: Naomi Siegel - Trombone Geoff Harper - Bass Thione Diop - Percussion Claudio Rochat-Felix - Drums Steven Bell -Vibraphone
Sara McCabe grew up enjoying meals around the dinner table and believes the greatest conversations and memories are created there. Being in the food industry for over 15 years and learning some of the best cooking secrets from her grandmother's Hungarian cooking, she combines fresh ideas with traditional cooking styles to create simple, down home meals that give a glimpse of her cultural roots.
