Piano Series with Igor Lovchinsky
One of the most popular pianists to have played in our hall, Igor Lovchinsky who performed exactly one year ago at the Franco Center takes time away from his other passion, graduate study in physics at Harvard, to present a program sure to delight. Like last season, Igor's performance will serve as this season's finale of the six Piano Series concerts for the year.
Hailed by Gramophone as a "star of the future" and acclaimed by Piano Magazine for the "elegance and rapturous beauty" of his music-making, pianist Igor Lovchinsky has performed at the Kennedy Center,Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Auditorium, theBushnell Center for the Performing Arts, the Eastman Theater, and the Ohio Theater. Internationally, he has presented recitals at the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw, the American Embassy in Beijing, and the Rosza Centre at the University of Calgary.
