It is a rare thing to see an Flamenco Guitarist of this caliber in the United States. And even more rare to see one in Seattle from where he was born. Joining Ben will be the fantastic Vancouver based Stephanie Pedraza on soulful Flamenco vocals and a beautiful Flamenco dancer as well.

In his show you will witness amazing spanish guitar playing and sublime Flamenco singing and dancing! Part of the performance is the banter between songs. Ben engages the audience with funny stories, and tall tales about his career. One minute you'll be transported to Spain, the next to a Heavy Metal festival. That's right, Ben is posibly the world's only Flamenco guitairist to seemlessly mix Flamenco with metal. In original compositions and well as metal's greatest classics!

Ben Woods is probably best known for single-handedly creating a new genre: Flamenco and Metal, by developing new guitar techniques and arrangements for his groups FLAMETAL and HEAVY MELLOW to the acclaim of fans and guitar enthusiasts around the world. He has released 13 albums on his own, 2 of which were licensed and sold in Costco Stores internationally, and is one of the only American Flamenco guitarists that have been featured in the Spanish newspaper 'El Pais', and Spain's Flamenco magazine 'Alma 100'. Recently he has been featured in 2 issues of Guitar Player magazine in July 2012 and April 2013. Benjamin is proudly endorsed by Godin Guitars, Cordoba Acoustic Guitars, and Daniel Mari Strings.
