*About Community Supported Arts*
CSA's goal is to empower creativity. By connecting art lovers with local emerging artists, we celebrate and nurture creativity in all its magnificent forms.

We believe everyone is an artist, and we artists need nurturing to express our truth, craft our art and follow our dreams. CSA is a vibrant Creative Community of thinkers, dreamers, artists and appreciators.

CSA has upcoming Art Shares available for sale from a juried selection of local emerging artists. An Art Share contains creative works by local artists--visual art, writing, poetry, music, performances, & more.

Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of founding shareholders and the initial cohort of talented artists, CSA celebrates its first year with appreciation for many who have contributed as cornerstones of this expanding community experience.

*History*
CSA was formed from a desire to use the same financial model from Community Supported Agriculture to successfully fund and support artists in a sustainable and equitable manner. We are building a Creative Community, starting with a new Artist Network of local artists who value community, creativity & culture.

With less than 30 similar programs across the country, Community Supported Arts is part of an innovative new way to support artists in their creative endeavors while giving shareholders an opportunity to have meaningful experiences and build relationships with the artists.

*Vision, Mission & Aims*
Our vision is of a world where people acknowledge that everyone is an artist, a world where we're empowered to reach our full potential, express our truth, and craft our art in ways that are sustainable, equitable and thoughtful.

Our mission is to empower sustainable, socially engaged, contemplative creativity by connecting art lovers with local artists, building a vibrant Creative Community of thinkers, dreamers, artists and appreciators.

We do this by connecting local artists with their surrounding community, simultaneously empowering individual and community creative exchange. This happens through our Art Parties, a celebration, exchange and learning experiences involving local talent and putting fresh, quality art in the hands of art lovers forming Community Supported Arts!

*Our Values*
CSA values supporting art and artists created with intentionality and meaning. This means we seek to empower artists who create thoughtful work around the themes of sustainability, mindfulness, social justice, contemplation and social change.

We take the best of what the local art scene has to offer and assemble a bountiful, varied, aesthetically pleasing, mindfully crafted and content-rich delivery of art, made available to you at an incredibly low cost compared to gallery prices.
