First Annual San Francisco Young Playwrights Festival

THE FIRST ANNUAL SAN FRANCISCO YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL presents a weekend showcase of plays written by San Francisco youth! The festival features five plays, selected from over 50 entries by San Francisco high schoolers and developed with the help of professional playwrights as mentors. They will be performed by professional actors from the Bay Area community. Offering insight, humor, and depth, the First Annual San Francisco Playwrights Festival presents the brightest undiscovered talents of San Francisco's youth.

BROTHERS by Sasha Mount, directed by Jessica Richards
FLOWERS FOR THE DEAD by Jane Reynolds and Chloe Jenkins-Sleczkowski, directed by Dawn Monique Williams
GOOD CHARLOTTE by Hallie C. Scheflin, directed by Anne Marie Bookwalter
MIRACLE by Karla Gallardo, directed by Jon Lowe
Note: General Admission $10 in advance, $12.50 at the door
Student/TBA Members $5 in advance, $7.50 at the door. Students and TBA members MUST bring their ID's to the performance.
Group discounts will be given to groups of 10 or more at the student price of $5/person in advance, and $7.50 at the door. To purchase group tickets, please e-mail boxoffice@sfyoungplaywrights.org and include a name, show date, and number of tickets requested.
