Community solar: It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood
Earlier this year, the Minnesota Legislature passed several groundbreaking policies that will significantly expand solar in Minnesota. These new laws are expected to increase the state's installed solar capacity to more than 450 megawattsa more than 32-fold increase over the next seven yearsand more policy changes are likely in 2014 and 2015. Ultimately, this could create a one billion dollar market within a few years time.
Fresh Energy's Solar Opportunities Series features three separate events (in September, October, and November) that each explain a different facet of Minnesota's legislative changes and the exciting opportunities that now exist for business owners, community members, and more.
