The Deafhood Monologues WASHINGTON DC
The Deafhood Monologues is an episodic play of Deaf experiences, chronicles and reflections delivered through poetry, stories and presentations in American Sign Language. Inspired by "Understanding Deaf Culture: In Search of Deafhood" and "The Vagina Monologues." Created by Ella Mae Lentz and produced by Deafhood Foundation. Directed by Monique Holt with all Deaf cast. Show at 7:30 on Thursday, October 24 and Saturday, October 26. The Saturday show will have English voice over.
