Route 11 Dance Festival - Writing the Body
Writing the Body provides a unique opportunity for college and university student choreographers to have their work performed in front of their peers. The concert's purpose is to give undergraduate students from across the country the opportunity to see work, participate in performances and classes together, and debate and discuss methods of composition. This gathering is meant to celebrate student choreography and foster a sense of unity among students as they share their excitement and experiences in the field of dance.
Ticket holders are invited to stay for a feedback session following the performance, during which the works that were just seen will be discussed.
Visit www.route11dance.org for the most recent list of confirmed college and university participants.
Route 11 Dance Festival is presented by Fine Arts In Rockbridge, in partnership with the Washington & Lee University Department of Theatre and Dance.
No babes in arms. All patrons, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket.
*Some works may contain material not suitable for children.
