Brick Penguin / Unctuous Child
Brick Penguin is a Washington DC based sketch comedy group featuring members and teachers of the Washington Improv Theater. The group has been performing across the mid-atlantic for more than 3 years, and produces a monthly show, mixing live performance with videos and musical comedy. Brick Penguin artfully navigates the terrain of the human psyche as it pursues life, love and a meaningful existence. After the show, members can be found making uncomfortable small talk and avoiding eye contact.
Brick Penguin is Murphy McHugh, Jenny Huftalen, John Calcerano, Amy Vance and Natalie Sayth.

In the tradition of Christopher Guest and Sasha Baron Cohen, Unctuous Child plucks the sane from the insane, the real from the surreal, positioning real to life characters against a bigger-than-life world.
