Broadminded Comedy: Jerks
Jerks, a new sketch comedy show celebrating the people you love to hate. You know all those dbags, aholes and well, jerkfaces. Join "the broads" at the Arcade Theatre in the Underground Collaborative at 7:30 pm on November 22, 23, 29 and 30 as they send up knowitalls, mall girls, and the fine folks at the NSA who are reading your text messages at this very moment. This show is BYOB!
Wait a minute, you're thinking. Isn't that second weekend the same as Thanksgiving? Yes, indeed. Rather than entertaining your family on your own, bring them to the Arcade Theatre, located in The Underground Collaborative at 161 W. Wisconsin Avenue on the lower level of the Plankinton Arcade building in the Grand Avenue Mall, downtown Milwaukee. The show is appropriate for ages 15 and up, so lock the little ones in the car. (We're not really suggesting you do that. We're just getting into character for the show.)
About Broadminded Comedy Broadminded, which has been captivating audiences since 2006, features the writing and performing of Stacy Babl, Anne Graff LaDisa, Melissa Kingston and Megan McGee. In addition to winning over Milwaukee as "...the most consistently funny comedy group in town." (Russ Bickerstaff, Express Milwaukee), the broads have performed at festivals in Milwaukee, Chicago and Austin, TX. Over the years, the broads have never stabbed each other in the back, made disparaging comments, or criticized each others' ideas... unless it was crucial to the quality of their comedy.
