King Lear
Theatre 4 - 4th Floor Seattle Center House Seattle, WA
Considered by many to be the greatest of Shakespeare's tragedies, King Lear is an epic human story of blindness, power, blood, and light. Rough Play Theatre and Lithuanian-based director Paul Budraitis will utilize theatrical techniques such as Meyerhold's "biomechanics", Viewpoints, and Suzuki training, as well as the extensive use of live music, to attempt their vibrant new take on this timeless classic.
Note: Theatre 4 is located on the 4th Floor of the Center House at the Seattle Center. Please enter in the North Entrance (closest to Memorial Stadium and the fountain) and take the elevator on the right. We will have volunteers available to assist you to the theater.
