Bach: The Next Generation - Weston
Musical Offering opens our 3rd season celebrating the music of JS Bach's sons. This season we honor CPE Bach's tricentennial (in 2014) and begin with music not only by CPE himself, but also music by his talented brothers. Little known gems by these famous sons will delight your ears. Duets by Carl Philipp and Wilhelm Friedmann are clearly in the galant style while the works by the younger brothers, Johann Christian and Johann Christoph Friedrich sound more like Mozart than Papa Bach. We hope you will join us in our little celebration of the Bach family!
