Battle of the Barbershop Stars
The Battle of the Barbershop Stars will be 1 and 1/2 days packed of barbershop singing and education. Attendees will have the opportunity to sing in a chorus directed and choreographed by Sweet Adelines best of the best. The Knight N Dale Chorus will be directed by Dale Syverson, Master Director of the Rich-Tone Chorus. The Gram Shazam Chorus will be directed by Peggy Gram, Master Director of the Top of the Rock Chorus and former Sweet Adeline President. Guest choreographers for the Battle will be Becky Bartlett and Stephanie Lopes from the Rich-Tone Chorus. On Saturday evening, the two choruses will have the chance to battle it out on stage and demonstrate the skills they learned.
The Battle is being held at the Tan-Tar-A Resort. Nestled amid the rolling hills of Central Missouri, the Lake of the Ozarks is the premier vacation destination in America's Heartland.
