Welcome to our SHED Supper Series!
An ongoing sequence of dinners with visiting chefs, winemakers, artisans and collaborators, the SHED Supper Series creates a unique experience for both the creators and participants. Join us upstairs in the Grange for engaging evenings as we highlight the many talented makers from the Bay Area and beyond.
In September we are delighted to host a multi-course dinner created by Boon Eat + Drink's own chef/owner Crista Luedtke paired with the wines of Sheldon Winery.
Both land and sea, and a late summer garden inspire Crista's menu, accompanied by Sheldon's honest wines.
Amuse Bouche: Smoked salmon on boon chip with capers and pickled onions
1st Course: Tri colored heirloom beets, redwood hill goat cheese, toasted hazelnuts, mint, citrus vinaigrette
2nd Course: Pan seared local halibut with flame grape salsa, warm lentil salad, squash ribbons ...a surprise bite...
3rd Course: Crispy skin Liberty duck breast, iacopi farms butter beans, brussel sprout leaves, back yard fig mostarda
4th Course: Vanilla bean panna cotta, blueberry thyme compote, lavender shortbread cookies.
Dinner $60; With wine pairing $85

Crista Luedtke: chef/owner of boon eat + drink and proprietor of boon hotel + spa.
Energetic and talented, Crista grew up in both the front and back of house in family restaurants doing everything from waiting tables to cooking on the line. Crista recently launched her newest concept, "Big Bottom Market" a gourmet market/deli in downtown Guerneville. Nothing makes her happier than connecting with people through food, wine and the overall experience.
Tobe and Dylan Sheldon: Fearless Leader and Chief Alchemist at Sheldon Winery.
Sheldon is a "Micro-Winery" crafting single vineyard designate wines.The grapes are sustainably farmed, hand harvested and basket pressed. Preferring a minimalist approach, they monitor the development of ripening grapes by using their noses and palates rather than relying on lab equipment. Tobe and Sheldon put their heart and soul into every bottle.
