Grub Crawl
The City Market is pleased to announce the return of live music to the property! On Saturday, September 28 the City Market will host a two part event featuring dining and live music.
A play off of the traditional pub crawl, a "Grub Crawl" is a cutting edge way to experience the eclectic food scene in the historic City Market and River Market! Consider this restaurant speed dating: a one night chance to taste and try some of the finest food Kansas City has to offer in the "foodie event" of the season.
Culinary adventurers will purchase a "Passport to Dine" that will be their ticket to a free taste or small plate from series of participating restaurants. Each restaurant has selected a taste of a dish that best represents their culinary point of view. The Grub Crawl will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $15. Check-in under the City Market arch beginning at 5 p.m. on September 28. You will receive your passport and goodie bag at check in. Turn your completed passport in by 8:30 and your name will be entered in to a prize drawing with winners announced at the after party.

Proceeds from the Grub Crawl benefit Friends of the City Market. Friends Of The City Market (FOCM) is a 501c3 organization developed to promote awareness of the City Market, its history, merchants, farmers' market, museum and special events, to increase the economical success of the property and to create a community environment with a unique neighborhood feel.
Live music returns to the City Market with a free, open to the public show featuring local Kansas City artists! Take in the breathtaking view of the City and perhaps a cold beverage at the beer garden, while enjoying live music in one of Kansas City's most historic venues.
