Stone Farms Jam Making Workshop
Join Stone Pastry Chef Tony Martin at Stone Farms for an afternoon of harvesting and jam making! Spend an outdoor afternoon in the beautiful Southern California sun picking ingredients fresh from the fields before turning them into delectable creations. Workshop participants will:
* Learn recipes for three different kinds of jam * Learn proper sealing and preserving techniques * Explore out-of-the-ordinary flavors and ingredients * Enjoy beer pairings with each jam style * Try cheese, house-made bread, and crackers with each jam and beer tasting * Receive a recipe card and jar of each jam to take home
Jam styles and beer pairings: * Apple rhubarb & Stone Levitation Ale paired with Stone Cali-Belgique IPA * Fig balsamic & rosemary paired with Stone Smoked Porter * Heirloom tomato paired with Stone Levitation Ale
Stone Pastry Chef Tony Martin is a creative and experienced chef, and has been designing sweet creations for four- and five-star hotels, resorts, and restaurants for 20 years. Currently, he makes the delicious rhubarb jam served with the cheese plates at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens as well as exquisite seasonal desserts.
