Joe Carpenter and Son, an English Nativity and A Child's Christmas in Wales
Joe Carpenter and Son by Graham Clark is the Christmas story, set in England at the beginning of the 20th centrury, told in verse.
A Child's Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas and adapted for the stage by Jo-Ann McCabe is the quintessential memory play for the holiday season.
The music for both these plays is presented with the participation of the Ottawa Welsh Choral Society under the direction of Marilyn Jenkins. Phoenix Players are very proud to be offering these two premiers to the Ottawa audience. It is a beautiful program and we know it will appeal to all ages.
The plays are presented by arrangement with Graham Clark and Jo-Ann McCabe.
