Happy Hour @ the Exhibit
Join us at the exhibit for one of our weekly Happy Hours which will include a unique program - a tour, panel discussion, and a mini hands-on design competition - through which to learn more about the design process and the architectural projects on display in World/City. Each Happy Hour will connect you with the unique perspectives of architects, designers, scholars, artists and more.
6:00 - 8:30PM.

October 10: Reimagining Westlake Park Design Competition
In teams, create a design proposal for a new element, artwork or addition for Seattle's urban hub and bustling crossroads Westlake Park! This event will coincide with a happy hour at the World/City exhibit. Feel free to participate in or watch this competition for architects AND non-architects alike. At 8:15pm judges will select the most unique response to this design challenge and award prizes to the winners.
Competition entrant registration is limited to 6 teams of 4-6 people and spaces will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Self-organized teams of more than 4 receive a discounted group rate of $35. Remember you do not need to be a competitor to attend! Individuals are encouraged to buy a ticket, enjoy the drinks and watch the design in action. All design supplies and drinks are included in the price of the ticket. Tickets to the event will also be available at the door.
