CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION takes place in the small town of Shirley, Vermont where five strangers embark on a journey together in a creative drama class for adults. They experiment with acting exercises, with results ranging from the heartbreaking to the ridiculous. Through these seemingly harmless games, quiet wars are waged, unexpected connections happen, and transformation begins.
Annie Baker is an up and coming American playwright who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for THE FLICK. CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION won the 2010 Obie Award for Best New American Play. This production will be performed in The Old Church Theatre, offering a unique, immersive theatrical experience in a small and intimate venue.
