City Growers Rooftop Farm-to-Table Fundraiser
Join us for a sunset tour, open bar, and farm-to-table dinner on Thursday, September 26.  Thanks to COFFEED, 100% of your ticket price supports City Growers educational programming!

The festivities begin on the roof at Brooklyn Grange's flagship farm in Long Island City, Queens.  As the sun sets over Manhattan, explore the beautiful one-acre green roof farm with City Growers founders and staff, and learn about the educational programs in which over 5,000 NYC students have participated this year.

After sunset, we'll head downstairs to COFFEED for drinks and a special farm-to-table dinner featuring Brooklyn Grange produce prepared by chef Luke Wu.  Mingle with the educators, farmers, restaurant owners, and chefs who work in the dynamic world of urban agriculture!

Included in the ticket price are open bar, dinner, and a private tour of Brooklyn Grange.  Celebrate autumn's arrival, learn about our work, and support food and farm education for ALL New York City children.

ABOUT CITY GROWERS:
City Growers is a non-profit organization based at Brooklyn Grange rooftop farms.  We provide educational programming to students in grades K-12 at Brooklyn Grange's two farm locations, and partner with local schools and community organizations to provide meaningful experiences with the natural world for urban youth.  Our programs inspire young people to examine the connections between food, ecology, and health, and empower them to envision a greener, cleaner, healthier New York City.

ABOUT COFFEED:
COFFEED is a locally-sourced cafe located on the first floor of the historic Standard Motors Products building in Long Island City, Queens. COFFEED roasts its own coffee in small batches and largely bases its menu on the growing season at Brooklyn Grange, located six stories up.  COFFEED composts 100% of its coffee and food waste upstairs on Brooklyn Grange, which in turn provides clean, nutritious soil for the farm.
