TICKETSMUSIC LINEUPFESTIVAL INFOVENUEFAQSCOMMUNITY
WHO:Barnaroo Music Festival
WHAT: Grassroots Youth-inspired music festival perpetuating the support, growth and development of local and regional youth music. Barnaroo is a three day music & camping experience featuring more than a dozen local and regional bands. Barnaroo was founded by 16 year-old Andrew Scotchie and family in 2009 as a private, single day mini-festival, and has continued to grow in size annually. This year the festival has taken on a professional level of organization and has moved to a larger venue in anticipation of increased attendance. Although the main stage will be located in a large amphitheater-style field, Barnaroo tradition will be upheld with the secondary stage location in the onsite barn. In spirit of youth music development and in partnership with the Rock Academy, Barnaroo will feature in-between set performances by student groups from the Academy. A raffle will be held and all proceeds will benefit the Rock Academy's Give to the Music program.
Performers include headliner Shonna Tucker and Eye Candy, David Earle and the Plowshares, Red Honey, and more. In addition the incredible weekend long musical lineup, the festival will feature local and regional crafters, artists, games, eccentric performers, local eats and local brews. On Sunday the festival will feature a soul-based wake-up jam and Yoga on the Pond. This is a family & youth friendly festival and all are encouraged to attend!
There will be an exclusive kick-off VIP & Sponsor Party on Friday night at 6:30pm in the Barn featuring food, drink and entertainment by Big Ben and the Clock Towers. VIP tickets and other options for participation (including volunteering) are available online at www.frannysfarm.com.
