Dinner with Kevin and Debbie Adey at Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Farm
If there is anything better than a cold beer on a warm night in summer, we can't think of it.  Oh wait, how about sipping that beer alongside a plate of flavorful, savory pork and the freshest veggies in town as the sun sets behind the Manhattan skyline?  Did we mention that you'll be surrounded by fragrant herbs and edible plants at the world's largest rooftop farm?  

If you're starting to get the feeling that we're throwing this dinner party because... well, we really want to attend this dinner party, you'd be right.  Ever since we at Brooklyn Grange started working with Chef Kevin Adey, selling him vegetables at Northeast Kingdom, the Bushwick restaurant where he presides, we've been meaning to get together for beers.  What better excuse than a perfect late summer evening?  The farmers are planting early fall crops just for this dinner, and Debbie Adey has worked with the brewmasters at Brooklyn Brewery to choose pours that will perfectly complement the hearty but nuanced ingredient-driven plates Kevin creates.  This exquisite but unpretentious evening is a perfect chance to catch up with old friends or meet some new ones, all while enjoying the very best that New York City cuisine has to offer, including:

ABOUT KEVIN ADEY:
Kevin Adey, an upstate native, has been cooking professionally for over 15 years, and has spent time in some of New York CIty's best restaurant kitchens.  His playful touch keeps dishes fresh and never too serious in spite of his reverence for the ingredients they showcase.  As at home in backwoods as he in in the kitchen, Kevin spends his time off coaxing tomatoes into fruiting in windowsill planters and foraging for stinging nettle.
