"Hope" One Man, One Show
"Hope" Written and performed by Jerry Ford, Directed by Turron Kofi Alleyne.
Based on Jerry Ford's life growing up in Detroit, MI, the play depicts both the struggles and blessings he experienced. The audience watches Jerry as he faces life or death choices on the streets of Detroit, loses his brother, best friend, and his auntie; yet you also see how these horrifying events created a fire in him that forged a will to succeed through any darkness. "Hope" was written to reassure people that there is a light shining somewhere along every dark road. We just have to persist until we find it to become successful.
