Glottalopticon presents: "Invisible People (A Radio Opera)"
Black. Queer. Opera. Cinema. Glottalopticon invites you to experience the staged premiere of Invisible People (A Radio Opera) by Yvette Janine Jackson. Featuring soprano Malesha Jessie along with Abner Genece, Jackson's opera weaves together myriad sonic impressions to form an essay on homophobia from an African American perspective. The evening launches off with a new collaboration with visual artist Ava Porter.
Friday, September 27, 2013 at 8pm. Space 4 Art (325 15th Street, San Diego, CA 92101).
$15, $10 student/senior/military Tickets available online from Brown Paper Tickets and at the door.
