National Latino AIDS Awareness Day
Every October 15th, the last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, members of the National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) Network, promote and sponsor activities that respond to the state of HIV/AIDS among Hispanics/Latinos in their specific communities. This year La Casa de Don Pedro will raise awareness about the severity of HIV/AIDS cases in our community and recognize NLAAD by hosting a fashion show and awareness event.
"Dress to Impress, Dress to Protect!" will be an elegant evening that will showcase fashion made of condoms, from several local HIV/AIDS organizations. Additionally, guest will enjoy live entertainment, food, raffles, information tables, health screenings and more!
