Please join us for a night of Dinner and Dancing as we honor and pay tribute to playwright and author, Pearl Cleage, with a special Theatrical Production of her acclaimed plays.

As an organization of African-American women who have continued to champion rights for inequality, justice and service, the Ivy and Roses Community Fund is honored to celebrate author and playwright Pearl Cleage, not only as a leader and voice in our community, but as an individual whose works directly reflect our mission and purpose.

Pearl Cleage has brought a diverse, multicultural audience to her works and continues to educate and serve as a beacon for excellence in the Arts.  While focusing on issues that affect our society, including domestic violence, poverty, mental & physical health, and social & political rights, she offers an uplifting perspective and presents stories of redemption, family, community and friendship.   Similar to the work of Ms. Cleage, our fundraisers allow us to continue to serve the metro Atlanta community through our many remarkable service programs and initiatives.

This Signature Fundraiser Event is well positioned to be a critical ingredient in our ongoing dialogue and focus around diversity, arts, poverty and education. The deadline to purchase tickets to this wonderful event is September 21, 2013. We look forward to having you join us as we honor Atlanta's own, Pearl Cleage.
