Inside The MItten 3.1 :: The Scott Pellegrom Trio and Blue Molly co-headlining
Born out of the lakeshore city of Muskegon, Inside the Mitten is a concert showcase of Michigan-based musical acts. Through a moderated discussion we learn just what makes a musician born of Michigan roots, do what they do. Inside The Mitten was created and is hosted by Watermark Live with concerts held at Watermark 920. Artists are not chosen based on genre, rather they are chosen because they exhibit rare potential.
The Scott Pellegrom Trio: West Michigan's own, SP3, is led by world renowned rhythmist, clinician, and teacher, Scott Pellegrom. SP3 also includes Michigan's music scene heavies, keyboardist/vocalist Ryan K Wilson (Southpaw Players/5iveit) as well as guitarist/vocalist Kevin Kozel. This well versed trio has been in the studio writing/recording 2 EP's. One album is set to be instrumental and the other lyric based. Catch this elusive group as they gain footing around the state. Wait until you hear just how powerful, soulful and rock and roll 3 just 3 dudes can be.

BLUE MOLLY: Blue Molly is the four-time 2013 WYCE-FM Jammies Award-winning band based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Playing an eclectic and energetic mix of everything from Blues to R&B, Rock and Roll, Jazz, and Soul, Blue Molly has gained a reputation for amazing live performances at many of West Michigan's top venues. Led by the dynamic and powerful Molly Bouwsma-Schultz on vocals, and rounded out by four amazing musicians in David Raffenaud on Keys and Hammond, Darryl Matthews on Guitar, Mark Hicks on Bass, and Earl Tolliver on Drums, Blue Molly is an exciting group that is sure to leave you dancing the night away with a big smile on your face.

Inside The MItten was created to dig deep into what makes, sustains, and drives artists in the MItten state. The event is an attempt to find out just what it takes to become a successful musician in our home state, and abroad, through a moderated discussion. The moderator for the evening tastefully interjects questions in between songs making the ITM experience truly unique and informative as well as FUN. Each concert is an intimate setting where concert goers have a great night out celebrating Michigan through music, and Michigan made beer/wine, as they get to know the bands and the stories behind their music. Some of the artists we have featured include The Crane Wives, Paul Hoffman of Greensky Bluegrass, Homeless Poet, 5iveit, Chantron, Funktion, Charlie Slick and Thunda Clap, Four Finger Five, Ultraviolet Hippopotamus, Secretary of Space, Seth Bernard and the Family Business, and Mustard Plug to date.
