Newburgh Chamber Music Series - Season Suscription to 2013/2014 season
Newburgh Chamber Music Series is offering a special subscription ticket price of $70 ($10 off the full general admission price) for all four concerts in its 2013/2014 "Ode to Beethoven" season. The world-acclaimed American String Quartet will perform all of the Beethoven String Quartets over the next two seasons and will be featured in 3 of the 4 concerts in 2013/2014.
Each program will feature string quartets from contrasting periods of Beethoven's life, so the audience can follow his creative development. Violist Daniel Avshalomov will give insightful and humorous guidance about "What Beethoven knew" at each concert.
NSM is planning special events around these concerts, the first being the showing of the movie Immortal Beloved at the Downing Theatre on September 11.
In addition to the American String Quartet, the Newburgh Chamber Ensemble, with flutist Marcia Gates, will perform a concert of music by Beethoven and his Viennese contemporaries.

Sunday, 10/6/13, 3PM: American String Quartet
Sunday, 11/3/13, 3PM: American String Quartet
Sunday, 4/6/14, 3PM: NCM Ensemble with Marcia Gates, flutist
Sunday, 5/11/14, 3PM: American String Quartet
