Comedy Night: Carole Montgomery and Mark Matusof
Join us for a night of comedy from some of the best in the business. These guys will have you in stitches guaranteed!
With over 2 dozen television credits to her name, Carole Montgomery is a respected veteran of the standup comedy scene nationwide. In addition to her numerous tv appearances, Carole has headlined clubs & colleges across the USA and starred in 2 different Las Vegas production shows. In her ten years as a Las Vegas Star, it is estimated that she has been seen by over 5 million audience members. Besides being a comedian and writer, Carole is a wife and mother. She's been married for 28 years and has a 21 year old son, Layne. She was Vice-President of her son's school PTA and helped coach his Little League team for 7 years. She is now dealing with an adult son leaving home, her Peter Pan husband and living with her mother-in-law. The jokes write themselves. Though her onstage persona and offstage homelife would seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum, she juggles both with ease.
A former aerospace engineer, Mark Matusof is fast becoming a favorite entertainer across North America from Las Vegas to the Bahamas. His comedy is clever, thoughtful, and most importantly, hilarious! Based in Washington D.C., he has been described in the press as: "funny without being vulgar or nasty" and "going the smarter, hipper direction to the joke". Mark has performed in clubs, colleges, corporate events, and country clubs throughout the US. You may have seen him on the television show, "Night Shift", or CNBC's America's Talking Network. He's been featured on XM Satellite Radio and the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom" radio show. He was also the opening act for a CBS David Copperfield special. Mark's material ranges from his immigrant family to the aggravations of modern life, current events and the fragility of the male ego. And there may be a little music tossed in for dessert!
