This play reenacts the events surrounding the recent California Constitutional Amendment to the State of California Constitution in which Prop 8 made it illegal for Gay men and women to be married in the State of California. The Actors portray primary antagonist, pro and con, as to why the Amendment should be allowed to stand or be declared unconstitutional by the Appellate Court. This issue eventually ended up in the Supreme Court of the United States, this year. Actors will play the parts of the Judge, Prosecutor, Defense, Expert Witnesses, and Individuals involved in the Court proceedings. You are invited to sit in the Court Room and become part of the proceedings. At the end of the play presentation, a brief Q&A will be offered so that you as the audience can get a better feel for the case and issues this play portrays. This trial will have direct affects on the "Gay Rights" issue of every State in the Union.
