Because of the elective nature of implant procedures they have been very sensitive to the current economic downturn. Therefore, in order to competitively provide these services dentists must develop practical treatment plans.
Not all single tooth, partial, and complete arch implants and their restorations are the same. Different complexities associated with each type based on location and anatomic variables can lead to unforeseen treatment with increased cost.
This case based presentation will show how the replacement of missing and soon to be missing teeth can be managed predictably and productively. Participants will gain a broader understanding of implant treatment planning.
Paul A. Schnitman, DDS, MSD, limits his practice in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts to implant dentistry. He is a member of the faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration and is a Fellow and a past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is founder and former Chairman of the Department of Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has published widely, and lectures nationally and internationally on the subject of dental implants.
