MOHAI's 2006 Teachers' Institute- Multiple Perspectives on Pacific Northwest History is an exciting three-day content-based exploration of regional history for teachers. Sessions combine lectures from the region's top historians and hands-on training using primary materials. The course content supports social studies and professional development standards, and sets Pacific Northwest history into the broader context of U.S. history. The course offers multiple perspectives on the region's past covering topics that include exploration, the growth of cities, 20th century migration, and Pacific Northwest Native American history.
