Rock The Casbah! Gala Fundraiser for Intonation Music Workshop 10/10/13
It's time again to Raise the Roof for Music Education!
During the coming year, IMW's in-school, after-school, and summer music programs will provide access to instruments, instruction, performance, and mentorship to hundreds of children across Chicago who would not otherwise get the opportunity; and to make it happen, we need your help to raise the roof at this event!
Join us on Thursday, October 10 for Rock The Casbah! which brings a rock and roll twist to the traditional gala experience! RTC's home is once again the glittering Alhambra Palace, conveniently located in the West Loop, so guests who work downtown can come after work with ease.
Special appearances will abound including The IMW All-Stars a select group of advanced IMW students who have come together from partner sites all over the city to form a new band, and acclaimed rapper Psalm One, who directs RhymeSchool, IMW's Hip Hop program.
As always, unique items will be up for bid at our silent and live auctions including one-of-a-kind experiences, signed instruments, vacation getaways, and lots more. Stay Tuned for details coming soon!
Tickets are $150 in advance and the event is expected to sell out, so buy yours early!
