Written and adapted by Dan Wolf from the book by Adam Mansbach
Dan Wolf, lead MC of Felonious adapts and brings Adam Mansbach's critically acclaimed novel, Angry Black White Boy to the Intersection stage. Working with Intersection for the Arts' Hybrid Project, Wolf re-mixes Mansbach's ruthlessly funny novel about violence, pop culture and identity in twenty-first century America with a hybrid of theatrical storytelling, poetry, rapping, beatboxing, ballet and hip-hop dance. This play will feature a live soundscape and performances by Tommy Shepherd and choreography by Keith Pinto. Directed by Sean San Jose, Angry Black White Boy is part satire and part scathing expose about the internal and external struggle to manipulate race, culture and history.
