(2012) dir Rodney Ascher [102 min; DCP]
A cautionary tale about being drawn too deeply into the movies we love, ROOM 237 investigates five different theories about the hidden meanings within Stanley Kubrick's THE SHINING, a film that continues to inspire debate, speculation, and mystery more than thirty years after its release. Wonderfully entertaining, especially for movie buffs, who will find the convoluted theories on display all too familiar.
