Farmworkers: in the Borderlands of Food Justice
Live on the edge of food justice, join Rural & Migrant Ministry on September 12th to celebrate the Justice for Farmworkers Campaign with a night of FOOD, live music, conversation, and dancing.

Event to be held at the Haven's Kitchen in Chelsea, Manhattan.

Keynote by Sanjay Rawal, the Director/Producer/Camera of "Food Chains".

Live music by NYC band TYSON.

Give-aways of NY agricultural items and special prizes. Silent auction including exclusive restaurant gift certificates, specialty foods, and weekend retreats.

One drink voucher included in ticket, followed by cash bar.

Rural & Migrant Ministry is a non-sectarian non-profit that works to nurture leadership in rural New York. RMM accompanies courageous farmworkers who stand with dignity for the right to a day of rest, overtime pay, collective bargaining, and child labor protections. We need the help of the food justice movement and New York City residents to pass the Farmworker Fair Labor Practices Act and progress the movement.

We need you to step into the borderlands of Food Justice and support Justice for Farmworkers.
