The Magic Teakettle
In the Morinji temple in old Japan a monk cleans up an old teakettle and places it on the fire for the Tea Ceremony when suddenly it sprouts a tail, a head and four legs of a Tanuki (a racoon like animal in Japan). Frightened by the strange transformation he sells the teakettle to a poor old junk woman. She discovers it is a teakettle of good luck. They create a theatre where the "Magic Teakettle of Good Luck" entertains and delights audiences with tricks and the Cherry Blossom Festival.
