Andy Cohen sings the songs that present day traditions were built upon. His concerts are funny and fast paced, bringing the roots of folk and blues into the present with humor and skill. He is a favorite performer at such festivals as Old Songs, Fox Valley, King Biscuit, Chicago Blues Festival, Winnipeg and many more.
Recently he was given two Lifetime Achievement awards. One was from the Autoharp Hall of Fame, for his work with the Dolceola; the other, the Eisteddfod Award, is given to people who've made a substantive contribution to the continuance of traditional music.
The Ladies Auxiliary Ukulele Orchestra is a rare treat for unplugged fans across the country. Formed in 1994, the members now include songwriter and educators Bernice Lewis and Berni McMahon, as well as surprise guests. Close-cropped harmonies and unrestrained ukulele strumming produce a highly original sound. Their sets boast something from every era, ranging from Mozart to Radiohead,
