El Gato Del Diablo proudly presents THE LEGENDARY AND FABULOUS PASSION PLAY, an original new work by Shawn Ferreyra at the Exit Stage Left, July 14 - August 19, 2006. Set in an underground drag world where legends are made, beauty and dreams triumph over oppression with the help of a misunderstood Messiah who makes the biggest sacrifice for love. THE LEGENDARY AND FABULOUS PASSION PLAY tells the story of star-crossed lovers banned from creating a union because of their sex, the holy messenger who brings us the one truth about love and marriage, and the religious zealots who, like everybody else, are looking for answers in a world that has none.
July 14 and 15 are Pay-What-You-Can at the door ONLY. There are NO Pay-What-You-Can reservations.
Note: This play is not appropriate for children. Please do not bring infants to the show. The EXIT Stage Left is located 2 blocks west of the Powell BART station. There is attended parking at Eddy and Taylor streets or at 5th and Mission.
