Densho's Sushi & Sake Fest is back! Join us on October 16, 2013, at a new venue, the Museum of History & Industry at their new location in South Lake Union. Enjoy an evening of the best sushi in town, top quality sake and Japanese beer, and exploring MOHAI's fabulous exhibits.
Early bird ticket price is offered at $100 each for the first 300 tickets. (Fair market value $75)
There will be no tickets available at the door.
Sponsorship for 10 guests with free valet parking is also available for $2,000.
Proceeds from the Sushi & Sake Fest support the education work of Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project. Our free online digital archive contains over 1,000 hours of video oral histories and nearly 11,000 photos and documents about the Japanese American experience. We present these materials and accompanying social studies lessons to educate the general public about democratic principles, civil rights, and the responsibilities of citizenship. Densho also offers a free on-line resource about the history of the Japanese American WWII exclusion and incarceration experience at http://encyclopedia.densho.org.
Note: Please provide us with attendee's name(s) for the guest registration list when purchasing ticket(s). Tickets are transferable but not refundable. You can also send guest names or name changes to Densho at firstname.lastname@example.org.
