Jewish life in North Africa was vibrant and this very special feature film tells a poignant and romantic story. A young Jewish man, reared in France, returns to Tunisia to retrace the rhythms of his youth. He learns how his parents; deep and abiding love sustained them through the tribulations of Vichy including deportation to a concentration camp. Wonderful cinematography and a gripping plot.
