THINGS(USA) . Written and directed by Cathy Thomas. A comic, surreal story of knowing the difference between what you want and what you need, and getting what you deserve. Lynn needs a pencil to fill out a form to get a promotion but gets trapped in the mind-numbing vortex of minutae and distraction at work until she realizes that her number one workplace hazard is...never leaving.

PAPER TRAIL: 100 YEARS OF THE CHICAGO DEFENDER(USA) Director Barbara Allen will be present at the screening for a post-show discussion. PAPER TRAIL: 100 YEARS OF THE CHICAGO DEFENDER is a documentary that chronicles the pivotal role the newspaper played in African American life not only in Chicago, but around the country.

Note: Filmmaker Barbara Allen will discuss the making of the film and answer questions in a post-show discussion.
