| Description |
Join the six clowns of Pi: The Physical Comedy Troupe as they embark on a theatrical and clowning extravaganza. Devoted to creating theater and telling stories using the physical virtuosity of our bodies: acrobatics, juggling, eccentric dance, live music, improvisation, puppetry and feats of incredible strength. A series of short clown vignettes comprise this performance which are all tied to a common theme of humanity. Patty Gallagher, a professor at UC Santa Cruz and the Director in Residence at the Clown Conservatory said, "Their work is intensely physical. rigorously disciplined and very much about ensemble work. I could not respect them more. They are serious clowns." The spectator is fundamental to our clowning and plays a vital role in making every performance unique. Join us as we wonder at a world where death is the life of the After-party.
