Consider the Lilies
"Consider the Lilies" is about an aging, alcoholic painter and his unrequited love affair with his bitter agent.
We are Theatre Gemini, so named for the astrological twins - in honor of the Twin Cities. Committed to theatrical excellence, we produce both established plays as well as original works. From the universalities of times past and present, as well as issues of topical social relevance of the current zeitgeist; we provide the audience member with emotionally arousing and thought provoking material. So marrying the logical left brain and emotional and imaginative right brain, we are a theatre of duality in many ways.
We are a group of theatre artists that have worked in such places as London, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans, Philadelphia, etc. Noticing the rich theatre life in Minneapolis/St Paul, we decided to consolidate our talents and form a company in the Twin Cities.
Our first production in the Twin Cities is a play written by Stuart Fail, one of the company's founders.
Stuart Fail (SAG-AFTRA) holds an MFA from UCLA's Theatre, Film and Television program in Writing. Stuart has won awards at Sundance Film Festival and the Hollywood Screenwriting Competition.
