upstart crow presents King John by William Shakespeare, directed by Rosa Joshi. Performed by an all female cast, this rarely staged historical thriller is set in the brutal, fast-paced world of backroom politics. While war rages over the true successor to England's throne, political alliances turn on a dime, and families and nations destroy each other and themselves. King John is an Equity Member's Project Code Production.
The creative team for King John includes: Jennifer Zeyl, Scenic Design, Melanie Burgess, Costume Design; Patti West, Lighting Design. Rik Deskin is the Stage Manager.
The cast includes: Aimee Bruneau, Therese Diekhans, Peggy Gannon, Sarah Harlett, Beth Kennedy, Gretchen Kritch, Ki Gottberg, Christina Martin, Tracy Repep, Amy Thone, Betsy Schwartz, and Kate Wisniewski.
