Crochet Edgings & Trims Workshop
I will show you an easy way to add an elegant crocheted edging to your projects from simple scarves to fingerless mittens and afghans.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics such as a smooth foundation and several elegant edgings to crochet directly onto a finished piece - along the top, sides and bottom of the piece. We will also discuss how to read and interpret crochet patterns and graphs.
Prior to coming to the workshop: Please make two 4" to 6" plain squares (not garter stitch) of medium size yarn. Also make two 4" to 6" using any stitch pattern either knit and/or crochet. Also bring small amounts of smooth yarns for crocheting the edgings.
Suggest that squares be made with a solid color, aran/worsted weight yarn. Also bring assorted yarns with you.
**Please remember to have Brown Paper Tickets send you a reminder for this workshop. You can do that before you begin the signup process. Look for the "Remind Me" section at the bottom right of this webpage.
